beyond any means necessary

i've been on hiatus for quite awhile since final exams.

news update, results turn out okay with GPA of 3.625 lots of B+ and only 2 As. A level results out with many people taking the boo boo. couple of people i know happen to repeat J2 all over again. yishen's finally entered the army, although he is situated at changi, and i've returned from holiday in pulau redang (life changing)

once again. i've taken the liberty to scan through others posts, realizing people turn rather emotional over time. some still stuck in december, some turned over a new skin, some never change, and some leave me amazed.

as a friend pointed out the other day, i do have a bad habit. i hang up on people without saying goodbye. the ethics of using the phone turns out to be quite strict, greetings and farewells such as hello and okay are essential to keep the party on the other end happy.

cut my hair the other day, now any stranger or acquaintance i come across ask the same thing. "are you in the army?" turns out most people don't know soldiers don't keep beards =)

then again, with the new look and new skin colour, i'm still out of love, and thinking why.

i suspect that the latest tag post i got was possibly from yishen. well thanks, it's been quite lonely in this blogsite, there seem to be mould growing from it.

i can't say much, exams are just round the corner, best of luck to ngee ann poly under grads, min yen, marvin, seng kwan and etc. this quick post was at random, thank you for looking it through

schools hitting it's final leg of its race. its study week soon, and then exams. meanwhile...... saturday playing football, and min yen's place for party.

pulau rendang's planning stages are almost complete. confirmed to be snorkelling and diving, but other activites are still in process of being planned. credit goes to kelvin of course.... thanks

next stop, final exams, and then holidays

i'd like to say happy lunar new year to everyone, or what's left of it. it's been a good year, although this new year, i seem to be losing lots of money at the gambling tours.

i turned 19 on the 27th of jan, and i spent that day in malaysia with my relatives. my uncle, who makes knives, started his new projects on amazon hunters blowpipe. looks really great, and fires ou the prick like a missle.

spent my saturday at jia hao's place, black jacking, and sunday revising my AL with xing han and kelvin. next week's gonna be at min yen's place, for our 4C reunion dinner. coming? i'd see you there

enter the flu

it's sunday, and exactly one week ago, i've the flu bug and has ever since then been out of action. symptoms include, hacking cough, the one day fever, and the endless river of mucus.

but anyway, its back to reality. projects are still due. and some reports are way overdue. but hey, its alright i guess.

um, its a bit late, so i'll say it quickly

for those who expected posts this past 3 months, i'm sorry that i failed to even think about the things to update.

yes, happy christmas and a merry new year. belatedly.

i had an enjoyable holiday with everyone, from freddy and gang, yishen and co., but of course, my family as well. nevertheless, it was a different sort of holiday than from what i had in 2007. i spent evening after evening playing mahjong and all sorts of gambling nonsense in the dark corners of jurong west.

and for a normal lifestyle, i picked up swimming and worked on my guitar. both of which had improved (well sort of).

for the cherry on the cake, i started driving recently, and it really busts the left leg.

celebrated yixan's birthday on sunday at din tai feng, and i picked myself up a chinese student to tutor english. and she's rubbish...

oh, very quickly... another year's passed, and most of our male buddies are going into NS. jia hao's went in, freddy, marcus, jon, yishen will all be heading into service soon. from what i heard, jia hao ended up as a storeman in BMT at the armoury. yishen is posted to the navy (possibly a sailor), jon got himself a spot in the police force (again, could be the police post near his house) freddy and marc, headed straight for the evergreen tekong.

i myself has got another year to waste away. so it will be my turn soon.

i'm behind the wheel

it's been 6 days since i touched down in singapore on sunday night 11.40pm. it's been a hectic week, and it's about to become a busy semester once again.

overall rating of china? so-so. sadly, china's not the best place to go for a holiday in asia. and to add to the bad review of china, i've got myself intestinal infection on the last week of the trip, again.

still, i missed everyone when i was there. kept thinking of going home most of the time.

the good bit about china is that, the sell stuff there that singapore doesn't have. i got myself a pair of leather converse shoes, a different version from the one in singapore, and i upgraded my wardrobe by 10%.

i'll be honest, i haven't been keeping up with times when i was spending my 6 weeks in wuhan. but even i do know the global economy slowly decayed itself to recession in the past 3 weeks.

and when i got back, its america crashes, europe dying, thailand still struggling with politcal stuff, and anwar still fighting with najib in KL. its all bu ha ha, but when does it all end? even our country's been hit, but how hard? and how are we gonna deal with this?
