chapter 25 : hectic day

today's blog is suppose to be pretty long, but i don't have the pictures of today's events with me yet, so maybe i'll post it some other time.

ok good evening everyone. it's pretty warm here in my room. i just got back from the edge of town with loretta and atiqah. great day today.

let's start with the first half of the day. its around 9.30am and me and the boys took a 20 min trip to macritchie reservoir on 157 and started our 10.2 km hike back to bukit timah hill. you can say the 10 km was really unexpected, i didn't know we trekked that far. well, anyway, we ended up at the bottom of bukit timah hill at around 1.30pm in the afternoon and had lunch at Al-Azhar. the details of the trip will be on the next post. i promise.

second half of the day started at around 2.30pm. yea, i dashed out of the house and took a bus ride to dhoby ghaut to meet up with atiqah and loretta. and in the end, i had to wait till 4.00pm for them to turn up in front of me. and then we walked around plaza singapura, let the girls do their "designer rags" business with some weirdo lady at macdonalds and headed to cathy to catch a movie; nancy drew.

well, the movie wasn't bad actually. in fact, it was pretty good. recommended for all ages and bored people. again, i promise to upload some pictures once atiqah sends me them.

climax of the day. well, it should be pretty obvious, that lately, my dad has been inviting people to check out the house, and that we were going to sell it. it just breaks my heart.

i spent the past 17 years of my life since birth under this roof. and now, we're moving out? what about my neighbours? what about soccer? what about the girl next door? and mum said it in my face, "son, what do you think these people are here for? of course they're going to buy the house, in the mean time, we have to find somewhere else to live". good lord. this is so unfair! ok guys, if you're reading this, i'll do my best to make sure i still stay in the district, so i can meet up with you lads and kick some balls around all evening.

well, that's all for today, i just want to show you something.... remember eric dill left the click five? well i always remember the days when i use to sit at the back of the class trying to sing songs from the click five. if you're not eric dill, then well trying to sing the click five songs is

1. bad music to everyone elses ears.
2. torturous to everyone else around you.
and
3. interrupting miss chua's english lesson.

ok, i'll get straight to the point, here's what i'll like to show you, how the new click five came about

the series isn't complete yet, so be patient. it will come out soon. have a good evening, bye.
